By writing quality articles and circulating these on social net working sites
Firstly you need to write top quality hubs, and secondly you need to be active in the community - by commenting on other peoples hubs, following people, answering questions etc.
Just remember that Content is King. So make sure to write hubs with great and useful content.

Have you noticed that the high earners on HubPages appear to follow very few writers themselves?Could it be said then, that it is more important to have a following than it is to follow back other writers and Are we spending too much time commenting at the cost of writing new content?

How do some HB users with very few hubs get so many followers?I have 14 followers and have written 19 hubs. Some users I see with less than 10 hubs, yet lots of followers (sometimes even over 100). How do they do this? It's very cool!
