Has the KONY 2012 video exposing Joseph KONY affected you enough to take action?

If so, what action did you take or are planning to take?
Have you shared the film through your social networks and emails?
Have you signed your name on the kony2012.com website?

Yes. Never fool yourself by saying one man or woman can't make a difference. Look at the Avaaz organization, able to collect the signatures of all those individual men and women, and making their voices heard.

After seeing it all over facebook and other places the past couple days I decided to do a little research and right a hub about it as well. I figure the more who right about it the more chance of somebody seeing it. Personally I do believe this guy needs to be stopped, nobody should be treated the way he treats people. All I can wonder is where did his parents go wrong in raising him to make him take kids and turn them into his personal killing army and thinking he is untouchable... sad all the way around, but hopefully he does get stopped soon.

There's no doubt about it, this guy is a monster.  But African politics is murky and I want to know how this guy has been around for so long and no one seems to have stopped him.  Where is he now and who enabled him so that he's able to to do what he's done and not get caught.

Video is a little late, the multinational task force from the african union and their green beret trainers have been devestating his forces, the video no longer reflects the facts on the ground. His bases, camps and villages have been wiped out and most of his forces killed. He has about 200 fihters left out of he thousands he had before the task force started fighting him. Its only a matter of time till he's caught or killed but the congo isn't like the middle east. It will take time predators and spy planes are worthless in triple canopy jungle, no landing zones, trails, roads or infrastructure. It will just take time. Good video but between when they started production (most video in is stock and from prior years) and now the situation has already changed. Unfortunately I think the world will miss the fact that the african union solved this problem and declined most western aid. Oh and Cassi look up executive outcomes, a private merc force that was close to stopping him but was stopped and replaced with UN peacekeepers. That should answer your question

Joseph Kony 2012 is a video that is dedicated to stopping a brutal warlord in Africa.  He has been on a horrifying power trip, destroying many families and lives, and doesn't even seem to have a purpose for his child army.  Consider looking into this, my son shared it with me and I want to share it as well.  Thank you for reading. read more
