What is the ultimate purpose of the 'Occupy' movements? Are they united, and if so, for what?
Occupy Spring is supposedly going to be a more organized version of Occupy Wall Street. What I've heard here in Detroit is that the unions will utilize their members and other "reliables" so there's no repeat of the disorganized attempt known as OWS. In theory, the Occupy Spring Movement will springboard the Obama campaign to a bigger lead over Republican rivals.
The ultimate purpose of any Occupy movement is to represent the "99%" that feel they are lacking representation in Washington.
Though unorganized, hopefully that will improve. Their ultimate purpose is show how the 99% are being left behind. Over the past decade the 99% median income at best has straight lined. While the top 1% incomes have risen 300% or more. They're not jealous of the rich, but wanting the same opportunities and a level playing field where all can attain the American Dream.
Obama staying in power. If the polls show his likely defeat, these clowns will use rioting as an excuse to declare martial law & suspend elections.

Do you think that the Occupy Wall Street and other occupy movements were totally constructive or were totally an utter waste of time and energy?

What are your thoughts on Divine Justice? There are a group of people who want to blame or praise God for certain natural events that have happened. Many people blamed Katrina on the morality of New Orleans. I am not arguing this particular theology (although I disagree with it) I am now wondering...
