I'm not sure if that is a good idea but I maybe wrong.
I would say no. After all, why ask the question if you already know the answer.
Apologies - I have just raised this question myself then saw that you have raised this. I think the question needs an answer because we may want to write a Hub in order to give more detail to the question itself.
If I knew how to delete my question I would, and then I could follow this question instead - but I can see no way of removing my question.
Apparently your not supposed to answer your own questions. After all if you answer your own questions then there was no need to ask them as you know the answer.
It's seen as wasting others time and trying to get income from a question for the sake of it.

I know answering requests improves scores but answering our own request does it also improve or on the contrary does it decrease the score(and also does it go against the convention here at hubpages)?I am asking this question for this particular request and also for a couple of other requests I...

To date, I have been denied permission to ask and/or answer questions because of revenge? mark downs by disgruntled hubbers. I get blocked for a while, then un-blocked, then blocked again. Also some of my Q&As are deleted by HP staff without notice or a chance to defend my position. The Q&A...

I have been on HubPages only for two months. I did not think that "Asking & Answering Questions" was a complicated matter. But I have come across a question that if you ask a question and then answer it with your own hub, it is "faking it". My understanding was...

HubPages policies have changed since I first signed up years ago when "Answers" was called "Requests" and even when duplicate content Hubs were allowed. I've pretty much tried to keep up, but a question about the "Answers" section occurred to me not long ago when...

What the heck is the point of Q&A? I don't mean that sarcastically. I am really trying to figure it out. I can't formulate a strategy for properly using this feature unless I can understand the intent behind it.First the Q&A questions/answers were on their own pages with their own urls. It...
