Should the father of a child have the right to prevent a woman from having an abortion?
No. Whether a man is pro-life or pro-choice he should not have the right to force a woman to have baby or terminate a pregnancy. Just as a man has no right to force a woman to have sex with him, eat a particular food, or dress a certain way. He does not own her body.
One man's opinion.
If he was against having kids, then he should have been more proactive in the first place and worn a raincoat to avoid the issue, or just do the snip-snip and be done with it. A lot of men want to be reckless, having unprotected sex, then turn around and blame the woman that wants to keep the child. If that's not part of your plans, protect yourself and stop putting all the responsibility and blame on the woman.
If you don't want his opinion, then don't tell him you're pregnant- just get the abortion as planned. What irks me is the double standard: men don't care enough and just want to have sex recklessly; however, if they show concern about having a say and wanting to help to raise a child, it's really none of their business! Put yourself in his position. How would you feel?

raped. If the mother choose to keep the child, how should the child be raised in regards to the dad, etc?

Presently, a woman has, by law, the freedom to end her pregnancy. After all, its her life and her body. Is this issue, free-choice abortion, a matter of politics? Social science/politics is about what is good for society as a whole. Is abortion good or bad in the light of what is best for...

What are your opinions on abortion?

Based on the linked article, it appears that there was no such thing as the Supreme Court Decision entitled Roe Vs Wade. What was it, over 40 years ago, and we still deal with these RED retrograde states trying to chip away at this right obtained by women, nationwide. First, no abortion, excluding...

Is abortion about women’s right or is it about the right to life?I get so mixed up in that debate, it would seem that the right to life outweighs any right of personal choice, but many see it much different. What is your opinion about abortion? What supersedes what? Do men have a right to a choice...
