   When you go to the theater to see a movie do you leave before the credits or after?
   
   I always stay until the last credit and song and the screen goes black. However, I find only a few people do at any showing. I find that there are many surprises after the credits that people who leave early miss. I just saw a movie and after the credits were over there was a very funny scene at the very end. I felt sorry for all those poor souls who missed it. Then again I stay out of respect for all the talented people who worked on the film and I think the least I can do is watch their names on the credits.

   I wish to stay in theatre still the screen gets blank.  I mean I love to read the credits also in total.

   I try to stay and watch the credits every time.  Same reasoning, they put the names up on the screen for a reason, and it's interesting to see how many people were involved with the production.

   I'd love to stay back and watch the credits roll by, and have done so quite often. But many times, those who I bring with me to the theater jump up and run away once the movie is over.

      Let them go.  That's what I do, but then it's a different story if they are your ride.  I make sure I drive whenever I can.  Also, most of my movie friends have a similar take on the value of the credits.  Educate yours or trade them in for new ones.

   I'd like to, but the people I'm with usually want to leave. That, or the workers force you to leave so they have enough time to clean before the next showing.

   Aside from the reason you give... which is a very good reason... I also stay until the very tail end of the end credits because you never know when they're going to toss you one of those "bonus" scenes after the last credit has run. For instance, I just came from a screening of "The Avengers", and there are TWO such scenes... one about halfway through the end credits, and the other at the very end.

      Yes JBunce that is exactly what I was referring to, the surprise scenes in the Avengers was a real treat too bad not many people got to see them.
