Does it matter when a Hub is published?

Does it matter if you publish in the morning or evening or on Moday, Saturday or Sunday? In other words, so you get more readers if you publish at a certain time of the week or day?

I am new to hubpages but I noticed that when I published my first hub in the afternoon around 5 PM it got more views for the entire day. I think people are busy with work and school before 5 PM.

There seems to be some truth to the statement that people react to social media in a similar way as they do to radio. In other words, people listen to the radio more often while driving to work, during lunch, on the commute home. People catch up with daily events on Facebook, before work, during lunch, after dinner and Sunday mornings.
Perhaps, people respond to Hubs in a like-manner. I like to read a few articles with my morning cup of coffee and before I call-it-a-day.

When I was publishing here I avoided launching on the weekend because that tends to be low traffic for my topics. There are readers from all time zones, but it seemed to me that daytime PST was more active. Different topics can vary -- and so can general trends. I've heard gaming and some topics do well on the weekend, and I just had the highest-earning Saturday ever this past week.

I guess  time of publishing  does not matter ..  because  readership depends on the time availability of a reader...we have different availability of our time...we read according to the spare time we have. I believed during night  time or weekends is when our readership increase. for most got the chance to open and sit in front of PC.

I found evenings are the best. Not too late. Around 7-8pm
