How close are we from discovering the origins of the universe?
How long do you think it will be before we know how and when the universe began, if ever?
the beginning of universe is a guess. every thing regarding universe is our own interpretation. scientists are yet to invent another dimension to express how close we are? very intelligent hub.
I think we're as close to knowing where it all began as we are to figuring out how it will all end.
No one will ever be able to prove beyond a doubt where it all began because no one was there...same reason why no one can prove what is beyond this life. It's an individual choice as to what we except as the truth but for those who are honest with themselves, they would never claim it to be fact, just belief/faith.
there was an article on MSN that said some scientists figure it will be less then 20 years until we prove how the universe began. if you read the bible it happened about 6,000 years ago. ya right.

Do You Believe In Aliens? Do You Think We Are Alone?Do you believe in Aliens from outer space. Do you think they will some day show up here on earth. You know I really thought that by this point in my life ( age 62 ) that aliens from outer space would have already showed up here on earth. It does...

He could have done it in four or five days if He didn't insist on making most heavenly objects thirteen billion light years distant. Just showing off?

The universe seems to be self-designing, in an intelligent manner. Maybe the solar system is so perfect in order for humans to live here, so the universe can experience it's awareness in the material world of time and space. We are just projections of that awareness. The solar system is like a...
