What was your best earnings for one day on HubPages and how did it happen?
Well, before June this year, I was making 1 dollar to a dollar and a quarter per day. The first week of June I got smacked down by Google so now back to fifty cents/day.
How did it happen? No sure. In January this year my views were flat and had been for a long time. Suddenly, with no particular action on my part views started rising, a gift from Google.
Wish I could make a dollar/day. My average daily earnings are from 2 to 15 cents/day.
Xanzacow, It took me 19 months to get first payout. When my daily visits started averaging over 200/day I started seeing more income than just pennies. Really, it only takes a couple of attractive Hubs, I have three or four that bring 90% of traffic.
My experience is similar to tmbridgeland - I too was smacked by Google - not once but several times. I am now hopefully stable. It feels wonderful to see the growth and see my daily earnings growing. The dollars are inspirational. The most was probably $8, this account ranges now over $4 a day! I am thrilled. Of course, this is my flagship account where I started and continue to have fun but all of the GmaGoldie hubs are simply fun hubs. My science hubs I retain elsewhere. I like the targeted focus.
I envision my science hubs to be the money makers someday but for now I am thrilled with this little bit of recognition and income.
Oh, how did the $8 occur? It was a jump in the recognition of the science behind ozonated water and how it can help with food safety.
I anticipate automotive to take a big leap too so I am gearing up with some more automotive hubs (please excuse the pun).
Like GmaGoldie, my best day was $8 and some-odd cents. I had a hub go viral with over 500 Facebook likes. The hub was a celebrity interview I did with reality TV star Paige Wyatt. I had thousands of views in two days. I still don't know which FB profile it showed up on and who posted it!
Mine was $178.87 (that's not counting AdSense or Amazon.) It happened in April and is a far reach from my regular earnings, but still exciting! (One of my hubs went viral.) I hope to have a day like that again!
Wow! That's impressive. Congratulations!

How many of you have ever drooled in public and how did it happen? As for me: yes, I was eating and talking. I drooled right on my shirt, and of course it had to happen in front of women who got grossed out.

I'm just curious to see what the average is for newcomers to earn in their first month. I know that the more hubs you have, the more impressions you'll have and potential clicks, but I'm really interested in hearing from some of the top earners, maybe to help inspire newcomers who aren't...

What was the greatest pick up line you heard and when and where did it happen? Why did it stick?I will always remember this line from a guy....it was so long ago. I was at the library..where everyone was supposed to be quietly reading. He sat right in front of me and said loudly "You are so...

That's right folks! I'm living proof that it can be done with some good old fashioned work ethic. I have only 9 hubs, but have busted my butt daily learning all the methods of linking and article writing. The majority of my time has obviously been spent learning, but as my repertoire and knowledge is...

Why are my hubpages earnings as low as a dollar per month?I have 14 hubs. All of them are featured and all these together earn just around 1 dollar. Is something wrong with my hubs?
