   The Meaning of Your Life
   
   If it is true that everyone has a purpose, a pre-determined reason for existing, then what do you believe is the true meaning behind your life?

   If I knew my life was pre-determined I would kill myself right now, I love free will to much and would not see much of a point in doing anything. I believe life has no meaning because the universe simply cannot give you a meaning, it is not self aware (that I know of) but if I had to pick one it would be to enjoy your life and be happy, we only carry on living due to pleasure.

      In the game of life, you are the trophy, my friend. You may be surprised to know that all the inhabitants of heaven are standing on their tip-toes to see who will win the ultimate prize, which is eternal life through Christ Jesus. Your life matters!

   I seek the way of enlightenment.
   
   I do believe  our purpose in life is to learn the real reason of existence and seek enlightenment to remain in spiritual form.
   
   I learn about Soul Travel and Astra Travel or OBE (out of body experience) as well as other spiritual guidance.
   
   I truly believe when we understand the meaning of our lives, we will be returning in spiritual form to roam the world in different plane.

   The meaning I have for my life is to make my Creator proud of me as his vessel shaped from the clay, and to see it is good. By His hands we are all given a shape and a meaning to participate in the joy of His creation and with every precious breath we take, realize the love that He has for every one of his children. Do you think God would waste his wonderful clay on a thing that was not meant to be a marvel and beautiful to behold? In His eyes we are all unique,a special purpose we have to accomplish and to carry on His love for our fellow man. No matter how poor or rich in this life, each of us is very special to our God and He wants the best for his children. By His iron will, we will continue to survive and grow even stronger in time, as is His intent. He would not sacrifice His son Jesus,, unless for a good and most marvelous reason. Winston Churchill once told his people to never give in, and with the help of our Father God, we will live on in his image, and do His deeds, until it is time to give up our earthly bodies and return to Him in the spirit. May God bless us all!

   I respectfully disagree with your premise. On one hand we were pre-ordained to live at a specific time and place, but our destinies are not pre-determined, because God has given us free-will to exercise freedom of choice.
   
   Having said that, the meaning of life is to grow in knowledge and in love for our Creator.
   
   Step one is to be aware that He exists
   Step two is to find out who He is
   Step three is to find out what He wants from us
   Step four is to embark upon a meaningful and personal relationship with Him
   
   and...
   
   Step five is to discover His plan for our life

      "Set Purpose" implies predestination, and I do not believe that is Biblical. Please understand that not everyone has a specific purpose, other than God's general purpose for mankind, and most of that centers on how one should treat God and others.

   I was created to bring God pleasure by worshiping him and living a live that values the things He values. Secondly, I was created to love others in various ways. Everything I go through in life whether good or bad equips me to fulfill these two important purposes. God loves people more than anything and it's for people that Jesus came.

   there is no meaning to life other then what we decide. were not governed by some invisible force that tells us what we are going to do, how we are going to live etc. we make our own destinies and it's just how it is.

      So, what you are saying is, that your life is without purpose and it is utterly meaningless. I cannot understand what prompts you to get out of bed in the morning knowing that nothing you do matters ultimately. No rewards...no punishment. Depressing!

      It is not meaningless if you choose a meaning yourself. People get out of bed because they want to live the short life they have and have fun, I would say our reward is our legacy. To think you know what happens after death is insane we cant know yet

   For me, we are all beings of light, joy and love. Our purpose is to remember this fact and express our joy in this lifetime. Many of us have to work through lots of veils or debris that tend to cover our ability to see and to know what is always inside us: love. Once a person removes the veil and truly sees, there is no fear, no danger, no anxiety, only love and joy for him/herself and everyone and everything b/c with this realization comes an understanding that we are all one. I believe this is our purpose, we all have the same purpose spiritually speaking and we are here to help remind each other that we are love.
