Should I allow links in my comments?
Some people like to place links to promote their websites or share information. I don't care if they do that, but can it hurt my SERP if I allow these links in the comments?
Depends...I removed a comment from a co-hubber with a link because I felt it was inappropriate and, was not quite related to my hub. You have to be the one who decides.
Links that are unrelated to your hub could hurt you. HubPages says that you should not put links in your comments, and personally, I do not allow links in my comments boxes.
I have allowed some links in comments before. It all depends on why the link is there and if it helps the hub. Sometimes I have hubs that say leave a comment with the URL to an image to ad to a gallery, or something similar to that. You can ultimately decide if you allow URLs or not in your comments but sometimes they are worth having!

I know it says under each...

Hello Everybody,I'm going to try to break form and be brief with this.If somebody posts something on one of your informational hubs -- one that you know contains concrete, legitimate information -- which attempts to discredit you, would you delete the comment?

One of the first things I thought HP would do during the feature changes especially when it came to linking was to disallow other hubbers to leave links in comments. While the more experienced hubber will know how to remove this, new hubbers may not realize how detrimental it can be to their hubs....

When is a hug more than a hug between a man and a woman who is NOT his wife?If a man hugs a woman in front of his wife, where is the line that it has gone too far? The "hug" is fine. Does it cross the line with a kiss on the cheek? A kiss on the neck? Prolonged hugging?...

I'm seeing many comments on my articles that include a link to a website/blog. I don't usually approve such comments if the link is unsafe or unrelated to the topic discussed in the hub, but I notice that on several websites the comment section would allow visitors to leave their web link. Is it...
