What part of your Hub do you spend the bulk of your time on?

Aside from doing research, where do you spend the most time in forming your Hub? For instance, I spend the majority of my time on the opening and closing paragraphs. The opening paragraph is designed to draw readers in and the closing paragraph is meant to tie up the package I have presented to the readers. What about you...is your time spent on sections of your article, on photos, questions, videos, etc.?

I spend most of my time on the creation of the body of my hub, and mainly because I always feel that it needs to be thorough enough to formulate the hubs structure, and to satisfy the overall theme of the introduction. Generally the intro, and conclusion is the easiest part of hub writing for me, and so I blow right through them both each time.

As for poems, they might take me longer to write then complete prose hubs on here, because to make them have intrinsic aesthetic value is tough. Now, if poems are written too quickly and not well thought out it may spell disaster for its potential to attract viewers or hub visits. So, they may turn out lacking an in depth hidden meaning, and unique wording structure of poetic form, which to me is paramount in having them stand out above the rest.

My research hubs are fun, and pretty much take me no time, because there's so much web resources to support them, and I'm really good at locating relevant content as a content curator, and web analyst.

    Great! question pagesvoice

Isn't it funny what works for one is completely different for someone else? I guess that is one of the reasons why reading a lot of Hubs brings such a variety of styles and creativity.

I think I take the longest with formatting my hubs and editing.  I write fairly quickly, research can take some time, but the bulk of my time I think I spend formatting my capsules and re-reading/tweaking.

You do raise a good point about tweaking and formatting. It is time consuming and I'm always left 2nd guessing myself. I'm actually quite surprised that only you and another have responded.

It depends on what type of hub I am working on.

    General 500 word hub:
I spend my time on the first (main) paragraph.

    Longer then 500 word hub:
The body content would take the most amount of time.

    Photo hub:
Uploading the pictures and adding captions...

    Review hub:
    Placement of capsules.

Of course what takes up the most of my time while working on any hub is the amount of time im watching tv/videos.

Editing after I write.  I'm actually a pretty fast writer and I don't usually need to edit a lot of content, but I do make spelling and grammar errors that need to be re-checked.

I think I haven't yet done enough of the organizing stuff, but the capsules are so easy to use and intuitive that it feels like it makes that part easier.  My answer may change once I've written more hubs.
