   I love selling on ebay and my hobby is metal detecting. I can certainly envision, someday, selling my "finds" on ebay. They are starting to collect up so the more I hit the beach the more potential  "inventory" I will have for my future career. It may be just a dream but who knows.......dreams sometimes come true!

   I've always wanted to be a writer or author and it's starting small with article writing for Hubpages which is making me dollars.  But that's a start and every penny is motivating me to keep coming back for more.  Of course writer's block and procrastination is a big challenge for me since I'm answering questions instead of writing articles :p

   Hi Mighty Mom. I have some talents that I feel would benefit those around me in a big way. I want to formalize those talents so that I am able to offer them to people as a service, however I also feel like taking money for those services would be wrong. Not in a legal sense, but in an ultimately universal sense. I feel like the services I would provide should be free and available to all.
   
   On the other hand, not getting paid for those services leaves me needing a job. Childish or not, jobs leave me cranky, and I find that I am not in the right emotional place to help people the way I want to.
   
   I think I will need to get over this hangup about being paid for my talents, and simply ensure that I do so in a way that I can feel good about. Maybe I'll just deliver my services in a book; I would be fine taking money for that.

   dear mighty Mom,
   While studying in Lower Primary,I started to show interest in writing poems, short stories etc. One day I shown some of my writings to my class teacher. After reading he told me to start reading of books of  good writers.Hence I started to read books.I took membership in three Library  to get books. While reading I am attracted to the topic of Astrology and chose the subject to read more and more. And also I learned more of this from  Astrologist who took it as their career. My  friends approach me and asking astrological advice to their problems.That is the first interest given me money. Interest in Agriculture, vegetable gardening etc also gives some money. I also earned money as travel guide because of my interest in visiting  ancient  and famous temples, tourist places  in my neighbor States.
   To day, again I am trying to improve my interest in writing, by writing in Answer page--hub page.
   Talent in many ways inherent in us.Developing it is the question.To develop a good platform is required. Don't think about money. It is only the out come.It will come towards you.

   Actually, it's ironic to see this question right now. Because I've done some art work (3-d) not painting --one commissioned for single purpose; love it but very time consuming.. The irony is that I just had a new idea for something definitely in this realm and am starting to work out logistics. If it works I'll shout it from the rooftops on hp--but ain't telling 'cause I hate floppin' !  Have one service-oriented business behind me I had to give up for health reasons. Everybody has something; you just have to figure out what it is. Kids in classrooms doodling, drawing, etc. I encourage to keep up their art (when they are good) and I talk with them about it, then ask them to do work assigned before they go back to it. As horrible as many classes of 34 teens can be, it's amazing how they react to their abilities
