    Do you think Gargoyles still holds up as a show?

    I just got the first season of Gargoyles on dvd and I'm surprised by how well the first five episodes have held up! I can't wait to finish the season! What about you? Do you think the show still stands the test of time or do you think it's just a case of nostalgia winning over?

    I haven't watched it in a long time, but I remember it being really good. I would say it could still compete with the programming on tv today, which is mostly pretty low quality anyway.

    "Gargoyles" was one of my favorite shows when I was growing up.  It was the first show I saw that featured story arcs that carried through multiple episodes.  I am sure part of my love of the show comes from nostalgia, but I'd like to think it's just as good or better as many shows produced today.

    I really wish Disney would release the rest of the DVDs.
