   Do you think Hubs can really influence people and help people make a decision?
   
   During this election season we have seen both hardcore Republican conservative Hubs and hardcore liberal Democratic Hubs, with their opposing comments. Do you think any of these Hubs really influence a reader and help them come to a decision?

   No, Because I think people are going to vote the way they have already basically decided. This year, Sad to say, Is not a gratifying year to be voting.

      But you're assuming that everyone obeys their ego. Some do not. Some actually pay attention to facts. I started doing that about a year ago. Better late than never.

   Yes, but it's rare.
   
   One hubber (Aquasilver) helped me wake up to facts that I'd never known.
   
   The problem with most people is their attachment to ego. Their beliefs are frequently equivalent to their selves. Question or jeopardize a belief and you question or jeopardize their self. I have a problem with ego, but at least I'm aware of it and fighting ego. Mine is not as easily bruised. Heck, I attack my own ego regularly.
   
   What makes it harder is the fact that the Corporate Party media has stifled the truth and keeps making it seem we have a choice, when we really don't.
   
   Both the DNC and RNC were farces. Voting is essentially worthless. The following 2 videos prove this:

   And our electronic voting machines? Just search YouTube for election fraud and voting fraud. Programmers have hacked the voting process and proven it to be insecure in the extreme.
   
   Stalin was right. It doesn't matter who votes. It matters who counts the votes. And America has fallen into the Dark Side.
   
   Who was that bus driver who kidnapped the Virginia delegation and kept them from the RNC while the rules were being voted upon?
   
   Right now, it's the Corporate Party that rules. The Republicrats and Demopublicans are only there to create the illusion of choice. Obamney = Rombama = Corporate Party.
   
   It's time we had another revolution. Legalize the Constitution again!

   Most people believe what they believe, true, but if those hubs have valid sources linked to them, then maybe the voters will be influenced otherwise. The media play a major role in a voter's final decision.

   I think most people have already made up their mind. However, there are a few people they call swing voters, who could vote one way or the other depending on if they like the message they hear. For them, articles that provide both sides of the issue could help them come closer to a decision. On the  other hand, articles that only present one side of an issue or one candidate's view are great as long as they are not  used to visciously attack the other candidate(s). Personally, I find ads and article that are solely used as attacks turn me off as a voter, and are more likely to make me look more seriously at the other candidates.

   EXCELLENT question.  I can answer on a personal level, by saying, "Most definitely, "Yes."   Hubs written by particularly "politically-wise" and well informed fellow hubbers are for me, MUST reads.  Although I may follow political news, informing the public of the various positions and plans of each candidate, I appreciate the opinions and explanations of those who are much more knowledgeable than myself. 
   Not having kept up with much of the political activity on a day to day basis, I have more questions than answers.  I am not one to make choices or decisions based on half-truths or unsubstantiated facts......At the very least, reading well-written, informational hubs, gives me fodder for further research.  This can be invaluable when considering something as important as my vote.
