What do you think should the Pres Obama do with regards to Iran?

Will it blatantly side with Israel and make a strong stand against Iran being a "nuclear country waiting to ignite'?

Only one answer here: Put them on the IGNORE list. Same applies to Israel.

Iran, since Ahmadinejad became president, has been deliberately trying to provoke Israel into something they (Iran) would never do: A first strike.  The one who strikes first is the aggressor.

However, that doesn't mean that Iran can't do the same thing George Bush, Cheney, Chertoff (& can't forget Larry Silverstein and Netanyahu)  did on 9-11 - i.e. a false flag operation.  Iran then blames Israel.

Since Obama is a puppet. He will wait for his reelection and support Israel in its destructive path. So far the invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon  and Iran were decided a long time ago by the Bush administration. It is  alogic move.
What most of the American people don't know is the awareness of the world about America's ambitions in the middle east and worldwide. Through the Non-Alignment movement gathering that took place in Tehran. Many countries rallied behind the peaceful Iranian intentions. Either they are crazy, either we are crazy to believe in its bellicose intentions.
Just a reminder, Israel waged more wars than Iran until now.

Sometimes, to do nothing is to do everything!  We don't owe Israel anything.  They always want us to do their dirty work and have gotten us involved in two wars to protect them.  We have lost blood and treasure in Iraq and Afghanistan, we don't need to get involved in another war to save Israel from Iran.

better learn about population control and the 2008 pact that Iran sign with Russia, Syria and Venezuela.fact is Iran have started no war in a while and any attack on Iran is a good chance of WW3 and the only winners in a nuclear war is the very very rich who can hide under ground for any amount of time with supply. people better learn and stop this before its too late

You can't expect from people to reason or at best to think. A girl, that I won't quote, drew a portrait of Ahmadhinejad upon "research" and was proud of her nonsense, without counting on the people who were congratulating her on her ignorance!

Use diplomacy! Get the facts, Let the sanctions do their job! And remember Israel is not the 51 state of this Union! This is a world wide problem not just a US problem so the world should handle it.

When do sanctions ever work?  Iran is not only a threat to Israel, but to the entire western world.  If we do not take out their nuclear facilities, we will lose a city down the road.

And if we attack unilaterally, ala Iraq, we are in for a huge surprise.  The hawks couldn't even execute war against Afghanistan properly.  How do they think they will fare against one of the superpowers from the ancient world?

What we the general public may think we know is nothing compared to whats actually going on below the surface. The rhetoric of the two combatants and the cool poker posture of the president are all cover up for what they are actually doing. I think Iran will diffuse, Israel will forever exist in paranoia, and the US will continue to police the planet until China, the reluctant empire issues a challenge..

We all know that even though a nuclear Iran is an intolerable option, any move against Iran MUST be made on a coalition basis, NOT unilaterally.

Iran's biggest threat is to Israel, first and foremost, but don't overstate the blustering of a leader who is beholden to hard right hawks back at home for the general position of the Iranian people.  They don't want a war any more than American citizens want a war.

That said, it is necessary for us to continue on the current path we are on, and not to allow the hawks in Israel, Iran or even here at home to dictate unwise policy.  A war with Iran is the last thing this country can afford at this point.  Much wiser for us to work with our international partners to ensure that the sanctions against Iran are stifling enough to correct its course.

Of course, it begs the question, who made us the world's police anyway?  And how do we justify allowing BOTH Pakistan and India to have nuclear weapons?

Each time there is a problem in another country, we can't expect big brother U.S to jump in and start throwing punches! I think the International Peace Keeping Committee should all come together to come up with a plan as to how to deal with this problem in regards to Iran. The burden shouldn't always be left on the shoulder of the U.S!

Israel is a close ally of the US and we are committed by treaty to defend her. We are also closely alled to Taiwan and Japan and are committed by treaty to defend them also. However, we never hear of Taiwan of Japan telling the US what do do or what not to do, as Israel is now doing. The interests of the US, should come first, not Israels. We cannot rush into war with Iran because Israel wants us to. Any actions on Iran must be made unilaterally

Nothing...it does not concern us. At most, he should send an embassador or the Sec of State to talk to the key players so that we have an idea of what's going on in the part of the world. Other than that, no American has any need to intervene.

Remember back when Iraq was a nuclear threat waiting to ignite? How about the Soviet Union? Don't buy into the fear-mongering friends.
