Yankees like the people in the northern part of the USA.... or Yankees the team?
    .... I'm not a big sports fan, they're a baseball team, right?

When I went to New York City in 2007, and saw Roger Clemens win his 350th game from behind home plate at the original Yankee Stadium. Fell in love with the city and team.

When I was a young boy, my dad told me a lot of stories about the Yankees of the 1920s and 1930s and players like Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig.  I then started to read about the Yankees and become very interested in their colorful history.

I'm interested in the damn Yankees because I'm a Red Sox fan.

Nothing like the Yankee/Red Sox rivalry. Well, until this season. The Red Sox are pathetic. I don't know who to root for in the playoffs starting real soon. I only know who to root against.

I've been to games at the old Yankee Stadium and at Fenway. Incredible ballpark Fenway is, and the old Yankee Stadium was. These new ballparks have no where near the charisma.

I have to say though, I do like Derek Jeter, as much as a Red Sox fan can like a Yankee. Jeter is a class act.

I am only interested in the Yankees because they suck and I love to see them lose.   Go Red Sox!!!

Why don't you say what you really think? I'm hoping the Red Sox end a terrible season with a few wins over the Evil Empire. Miracles do happen, but not last night.
