Do you prefer Greek yogurt or regular yogurt?

What is your favorite way to eat it...right out of the container or use it in a recipe?

I like both. Greek Yogurt has really been growing on me as of late. I like Dannon Oikos fruit on the bottom greek yogurt. That may be cheating though because it is not the straight greek yogurt. The strait stuff is a bit to sour for my tastes.

Yes, when I first tried greek yogurt it seemed too thick and too sour...almost like sour cream. I have been substituting it place of sour cream since it is healthier. Also try in a blender with fruit like bananas, blue berries, strawberries.

I prefer and enjoy the regular lite yogurts by Yoplait.  I've tried several different Greek yogurts but can't get use to the taste.

That's what I usually get, but trying to eat more greek yogurt since it has more protien. I can't eat the plain one, too sour, I will put in blender w/fruit like bananas for better taste.

There are a few brands of the Greek yogurt showing up in the store lately, and I have not had yogurt in a long time.  As a lacto-ovo vegetarian, I do not eat the main well-known brands of yogurt, or the house brands, as they all contain gelatin--a slaughterhouse by-product.
I was happy to find that the Greek yogurt brands do not use gelatin.  I have no clue why any maker would think you needed to, anyway--I used to have a yogurt maker for home use, and gelatin was not necessary at all.
