Should the US just leave other countries on their own?

Yes, totally agree. They should let them fend for themselves and put more focus on what we have going on here, which is a lot. There are homeless people here, hungry children, people out of work right here in my town. I made more money in the 80s than I do now. Sad but true....enter Metallica music here.
I think the US should always lend a hand to any country that asks for help. The US, however, should not stick it's nose where it's unwanted .
I agree to a large extent. I think the men and women of our armed forces don't need to be in dozens of countries around the world in the large numbers that they are. Further, there are many countries that receive aid from us that defy agreements they've made with the U.S.
The world is interconnected and we are all in it together. I will always vote for helping others.
