Why are there so many killings in the church/religious premises nowadays?
Why are there so many killings in the church nowadays? Almost every week you we hear from the news of a pastor who was murder, or a leader of a certain religion group, or members of the congregations are murder right there in the place they once considered safe? What is going on in the world today?
If I were a believer in religion I would take refuge in the bible's explanation. 1)The devil is at work and has now infiltrated the last remaining house of refuge. 2) God is ready to return and is weeding out the imposters, the wolves in sheep clothing.
Since I am not religious I see it as human weakness in the face of diminishing accountability. Religion once struck fear in the hearts of men but as many become disillusioned by its inequities they feel free to act on their selfish desires.
People are easily brainwashed by words. We should be in control of our own actions instead of being used by others.
We need to analyze our actions as not to commit wrongdoings. Killings are never the right way of solving problems. We should value lives and not taking away others.
We need a school educational system to allow people to see and differential right from wrong. We have to think for ourselves and nothing of such action in killing is ever right.
Teach others and guide them to walk in the right path. Help people and show them the right way in lives.
it has been the same for thousands of years. religion is based on fear and fear causes violence.
