   I noticed that the zzz'z have been removed from idle hubs.  Is there a reason for this?

      How do people now know if a Hub is idle?  (I deleted all my "zzz'd" Hubs, so I don't have any to go by; and I thought others may want to know; but also, I'd like to know what to look for in the future.  )

   It looks like they updated the icons in the last column called Featured. Now if your hub is indexed you have a white H sitting in a black circle. You can hover over this symbol and some words pop up explaining this.
   If your hub is Idle then this column is empty for those hubs. Understandably, it's also empty for hubs that haven't been published yet.

   I agree with Invincible. It was to make the Idle things appear more positive. Now instead of seeing just the Hubs that are Idle, people see the ones that are Featured. Idled Hubs are not flagged but remain in idle status just like before. Salve to the masses, let them eat cake! lol

   Glimmer is right.  The 'blog' listed states that "quality" is what HubPages wants to stress.  Hubs are still put in pending status when first published, and the assessment process is changing.  Hubs can go back to pending when they're not getting enough traffic.  So, the changes are that "humans" are now evaluating hubs and the little symbols have changed, everything else remains the same.

   Hi there.....Mine come and go all the time....It may be possible that when there is any sort of activity with that hub, it changes.......I know you can revive them and get rid of Zzzz's by doing a bit of editing or adding to a hub.....You probably just never noticed it before.....but, I can have 2 Zzzzz's one day and none the next...or 3 the next....If you make it a point to keep track...you'll see them change often...

    From what I can see, the idea is to accentuate the positive by having the little "h" in the column if your hub is still awake. When the h disappears it's the same as a triple z. I love zzz's in whatever incarnation. Keeps me sharp and ensures that I get a chance to do what I should have done in the first place. So I'm a zzz fan. Doesn't make me a bad person.

    I like the more positive approach.  I notice that I have a couple of Hubs that do not have an "H" at the end of the line, so I know that I can work on them and make them better.  Somehow the "H" seems more positive than the "ZZZ's"
