I think it is, I don't think it's that bad if you just don't eat junk food too much.

I think that most things are OK in moderation. I try to eat a healthy diet (I'm a vegetarian, so getting the right amount of protein, vitamins etc is important to me).

However, I think that having junk food every once in a while is fine (although obviously I don't eat hamburgers or hotdogs!). It's all about balancing your enjoyment against what is good for you. I would say I have junk food once every couple of weeks, and I manage to maintain a healthy weight.

its like you are asking is Poison is okay in moderation?
i think you can understand what i want to say.

I am Ayurveda Physician, and as per ayurveda if you will take unhealthy food (also in less quantity) it will harm you definitely, but in starting your body will digest it, slowly slowly it will harm you, increase your cholesterol, lower down metabolic rate and other problems.
so it is advisable to take healthy food always.

These days it is almost impossible to have a one hundred percent healthy diet. Junk food is ok in moderation as long as you have a healthy diet otherwise to counter balance it, AND you do some kind of exercise to counter act its negative effects. That is the way I do it and I am healthy, lean (no belly, no muffin tops, no overweight in general and no cellulite) and fit.
I, like Paul, don't eat hamburgers, hot dogs, domino's and the like but I am a chocolate fanatic and I eat it in all its forms (ice-cream, cake, bars, cookies, etc, ect, etc). Nevertheless, I eat loads of raw vegetables, healthy fats (pecans, peanut, sesame, olive oil) and fruits, as well as having a natural preference for whole grain cereals in general (whole grain bread, raw oatmeal, brown rice and pasta, buckwheat). I guess, in a way, I use compensation: no white bread never ever, and then I can say yes to chocolate. This is a way to avoid over-indulging and getting its terrible health and aesthetic consequences.

I say most definitely. Everything in moderation is okay, relatively speaking. I think that instead of avoiding all junk food, we should use it moderately as a way to reward ourselves as we strengthen our impulse control and discipline. Learning to limit our intake is a good thing, not a punishment.
