Do you believe in the "Law Of Abundance"? Does writing out a check really make it happen?

On the new moon of each month there are those that believe if you write a check to yourself, mark it paid in full and sign it Law of Abundance that you will receive something good in the coming month.  It could be anything from cash to concert tickets but it's something you didn't have, might not have needed but are grateful you received.

    Not sure and possibly.
I've done minimal reading on LoA, therefore, my mind remains open. One thing that seemed apparent to me immediately was the wide open opportunity for scamming in the online literature. However, if there is validity in how LoA works, one does not need outside help to apply its principles.
After doing a little research into LoA, I asked for an increase in my annual income for 2013 to supplement my Social Security. Within 48 hours of making the request, I found HubPages, and within a week two other sites that pay for online content found me.
If I understand the principles, the writing a check thing may work for some folks. It appears to be a mechanical aide to visualization.

Hi Angel.   I think it could be that the action of writing the check indicates that you want something, or expect something.  So you will be alert and recognize opportunities or gifts as they emerge.  Just a  wild guess, it's the first time I heard of LofA.
