If you are guaranteed life until 90 would you rather be healthy or wealthy?

Most people in the western world are living longer and longer but the quality of their life may be impacted by their failing health or lack of financial resources to afford adequate housing and care..

I would prefer health to wealth. Because if you are healthy, you can afford to work longer and have greater capacities of enjoying this life. You are free to move and to do many different things.
In addition if you are wealthy quite often you will be surrounded by hypocrites with pretend to be your friends. In addition, you would have to worry about investments and whether your money is safe or not.

All the money in the world would be useless if one cannot see or hear what is around them. Health is more important.

I'm with you Diana - although I do have concerns about OAP's whose lack of income is in fact what puts their health at risk.

I'd rather be guaranteed a healthy life. That way I could focus on acquiring immense wealth. Win Win.

Health IS wealth. Without health, you don't really have anything. No, wait. You do have pain and suffering.  When will people understand that health (like education) is an investment in themselves?

I would rather be healthy than wealthy. Without good health, what's the point to be wealthy but unable to regain back the old self?

having had a herniated disk in my 40s. I'll pick health over money any day. Broke or middle income can still give you an enjoyable life (gold, tennis, bingo, etc with the gang) vs being in a wheelchair or tied to a bed all the time.

I say "health is wealth" as well!  What use is the money if I can't enjoy using it. I would rather not be wracked with pain and tragedy any day!

Healthy, most definitely. You can earn money from your retirement or whatever; but health is the one thing to prize and cherish because it goes, and depending on what made it go and if you can get it back, you are screwed on a scale of 1-10. And being at 90 (!!!!) years of age.....metamucil won't help at all. It's golden to care for yourself NOW, meaning quit the bad habits and the junk food, get up and out and about; be good to yourself because the only one who has to live in you is you.

Health is wealth. I will prefer to be healthy and at peace with my body than having all the riches that can't buy health.
