Can I turn off the option where hubpages counts my own page views?
I have a few hubpages I am working on, but it seems to count my own pageviews. Can I stop it from doing so? It also seems to work out averages based on my unpublished hubs which I don't think it fair, as I haven't finished them.
I noticed that too. I think the default should not be to track your own page views.
Perhaps it is and the views you see are reviewer views
This also annoys me, it has always done it since I joined. I would love to see it fixed. I personally keep track of my own views of my pages so that I know how many real views I get. I guess when your hubs get popular a few extra views won't matter
I am not so bothered about the averages issue as I just make sure my hubs are published quickly.

Why I can see pageviews on my UNPUBLISHED article? Does it mean hubpage counts my own page views?

Since I migrated here from Squidoo two months ago, I've seen a steady stream of threads in this forum, complaining about lost page views. There are a lot of theories about why it's happening, and how much it's happening, and what can be done to get into Google's good graces.Google is not my #1...

Prior to publishing a hub, how do those page views keep adding up? I thought that no one could see it prior to having it published. My latest one published already had 60 page views! Just curious...
