   Will there be another Stargate series ?  I miss stargate franchise ...specially stargate atlantis
   
   Anybody have any idea if there will be an up and coming Stargate TV series.  I miss the show so much that I have rewatch the series over.  What are they up to now ?

   I really liked SG-1 and Atlantis, but I am hoping the franchise is done. I felt they really messed things up with SGU, and I don't believe they can turn it around at this point without destroying the franchise's reputation. There were a lot of questions with no answers, the series was cancelled too soon to tie up any loose ends, and there was too much relationship drama outweighing the philosophical problems typically addressed in science fiction. I also did not like the recurring theme of people getting "lost" only to catch up with the ship later, and some of the pain experienced by various characters did nothing to shape the characters and therefore did not further the plot enough to be included except perhaps because the writers wanted to act out their sociopathic need to torture others on fictional people.

      I agree that SGU is a mess.  Getting lost in space and then catching up with the ship made no sense to me too. However, SG Atlantis plot have a lot more to offer.  I dont feel it is right that they left the Pegasus galaxy at the mercy of the Wraith

   I loved Stargate: SG1 and Atlantis. Have the DVD's and love them.  I haven't heard of anything coming.  I didn't care for Stargate Universe (was that the title?)
   
   Unfortunately, all our favorite actors from the original shows would be a little old for that kind of adventure I think.

      I agree SGU was bad.  I watch a few episode and it fells like I am watching Battlestar Gallactica.  The audience that grow to love SG (comedy and punch line) got lost with the intense drama, plotting and betrayal on SGU.

      Agreed. I only watched a few episodes but it was like watching a soap, so I lost interest.
