What team or player was your biggest surprise?

    Mine was Louis Murphy.

Biggest disappointment there were a lot but Steve Slaton...hmm  and Rivers cost me a few games when I had Flacco on my bench!

maybe it's cause im from Delaware, but why bench Flacco?  Besides getting deep into the playoffs as a rookie he's on a team with an incredible defense which means not a lot of pressure to put up high numbers.

Pats started out lookin' mighty rusty, but pulled out an exciting win in the end.

    Hey, any W is a W.

It was a strange first week of football. Usually the first of NFL brings about a couple of surprises, but there seems to be several this year.
Hated to see Brian Urlacher get hurt and now miss the entire season.
And Slaton....he hurt my fantasy team big time.

Yeah every running back with a household name was a dud except AP.Grr Slaton had a mere 9 carries.

On the bright side I was 12-4 picking winning teams

I blame the announcers for the Urlacher injury. They were saying how it is the healthy he has been. Its like when they say this kicker hasn't missed a game winning kick ever, then he misses.

I know what you mean. But, from experience I know the stars of football will rebound. At least in one of my leagues I don't have to face the team with AP for a while now. lol
