How do you eat healthy and save money on your grocery bill?
Nowadays, I start to consume more fresh juices which made at home. I see which fruits has reasonable prices, and I prepare juice at home.
Tea helps give me the caffeine kick without so much sugar and creamer so it saves a bit. But mainly, we have tons of pasta in the house. It's cheap, it's filled the calories to burn off during the day, and there are fresh ingredients. David and I make a lot of homemade pasta. My mother and I coupon, but we aren't the best at it.
I've mostly quit the drinking expensive lattes in favor of homemade coffee, but would love to convert back to being a tea drinker. You can get a 100 bag box of tea for a couple of bucks. I can't believe how much small purchases add up. Way to go!
We stopped buying pre-processed or processed, packaged foods and started making more from scratch where we could.
We also eat less meat, and when we do have meat, we still eat a lot less overall.
We don't buy pop, chips or other junk food either.

Can you use coupons and still eat healthy?I don't like to buy meat, dairy, or produce that isn't organic, and I try not to eat junk food or packaged foods. Unfortunately, it seems like most coupons are for foods that I don't eat. Is it possible to save money and still eat well?
