That we still have a long way to go, or have been moving backwards ever so slowly!

There is a lot of work to do no matter what color, gender, religion, or sexual orientation you are. We've done a lot so far but there's more that needs to be done. And it all starts with people voting and being active as a citizen.

It says absolutely nothing about civil rights. It was criminal case, that according to the law and the evidence presented was determined by a jury. How is this in any way, shape or form a civil rights issue? Other than the race hustlers like Sharpton and Jackson are fomenting, who make their livings off of keep us all divided, what is racial about this case?

This verdict basically says that you can follow someone who is doing nothing wrong, that person can't do anything to defend themselves and then that person can be killed without consequence. You see nothing wrong with that?

What FACTS presented in court as evidence would make a jury to find, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Zimmerman's and other witnesses stories were not true? Not conjecture. Not emotion. But, facts.

It says nothing about civil rights unless you are listening to the trouble makers Al Sharpton and Jessee Jackson. The one's who come running to get publicity. The state plainly lost this case to the defense who where definitely more prepared to try this case. The state dropped the ball.

They lost the second degree murder case, yes. However, there was more than enough evidence to convict of manslaughter.

Cody.... apparently the jury did not think so.

It says that some people are still willing and brave enough to listen to their conscience and honestly examine THE FACTS in the midst of an emotional cloud. That's what those jurors did. Some people are still blinded by the emotion of it all. Facts are facts. Period.
