Are you ok with what the NSA has been doing ?

do you still consider your country to be "free" when your government spies on you whenever they want to?

this country hasnt been really free even before i was born. it just gets worse and worse every moment, with every new law passed. I understand people in this country have it much better than others, but to use the term free is still kind of a joke.

Its nothing new why all the hype now? The credit bureau and the Internet probably know as much about us as the government but we keep using credit cards  and the Internet. There is no place to hide!

Never saw so many law abiding citizens show so much paranoia? Makes you wonder what the average person is so fearful of?

Justsilvie's got this one right.   There is no absolute privacy and hasn't been for possibly decades.  So many computers, so many surveys, so many analyses of what each of us is up to, how can there be?  We borrow books from the library, a record is kept.  We log onto the computer and records are kept.  We swich on our mobile phone and every move we make is recorded and can be played back to any the members of any organization which has the authority to look at those records.   But why the paranoia?   If you're reasonably law-abiding, you've not too much to worry about.

That's the way it stands at present.  It will get even worse as far as privacy is concerned.  The more people we have on Planet Earth the more regulation authorities will feel they need to keep track of us - and what we're up to.

    Get used to it!

Worst case scenario, a woman was the one monitoring my computer and got a good look at some of my more interesting searches.

    I'm unconcerned.
