Do you use RedGage as a place to share your Hub Links or to make additional revenue?
If so, do you find it profitable
I've actually never heard of it before so I checked it out. It looks like a photo sharing site. How would you monetize your posts on RedGage?
I've used Redgage for over a year. I joined after a Hubber posted a hub about it suggesting it as a great way to get links to your hubs, but not as a useful way to earn money. Anything you post earns a measly 60c per 1000 views, although apparently that can rise if you interact more with the community. The payout threshold is $25 (I think), but they pay via a visa debit card sent to your home address. A lot of people complained that they couldn't use the card if they lived outside the US, so recently they offered a virtual form of the card - I'm not sure how that works - or even if it does.
However, they had a major revamp a few months back and the page showing the few dollars that I had accumulated has been replaced with "Your account data is currently being transferred from our previous site." Others have also complained about this. I wonder if ANYONE has actually had their earnings transferred yet - it's been MONTHS!
The new look might be more appealing, but the stats info that they show is very poor. I can't see my posts listed or see how many views I have unless, I go through them page by page.
Worst of all, the links have dried up. I never expected any income from their complicated and inconvenient set-up but I was pleased to get a nice steady trickle of views from Redgage to some of my hubs, but I haven't seen any views from Redgage at all since their 'still ongoing' revamp started all those months ago.
chasmac I found mention on HubPages that one person had earned over $1000 in a year mainly posting their photographs and linking Hub to get more traffic. This was something which interested me. Perhaps better to wait for the revamp to complete!
Correction to my post, Sally. I just saw I'm still getting some traffic to my hubs from Redgage - so it's still worth using it for that purpose at least.
chasmac - I appreciate your input chasmac - I guess it's all about getting traffic to our Hubs and we could do with every bit of help we can get.at the moment. Thank you Sally

I have been a member of RedGage for over 2 years but have not been very active until a month ago. Part of not being on there more was I had a crappy computer. Now I have lots of memory to upload photos and quickly posts links. I have been noticing that some people there have made some serious money...

I just wondered if anyone backlinked their backlinks, like putting Shetoldme links on Reddit for example. I'm seriously running outta ideas of how to get traffic.

I am getting much more traffic on my submissions at Red Gage than at Xomba, SheToldMe, or YouSaytoo. For the effort, Red Gage seems to be working much better, yet the other three sites have a higher Alexa ranking. Can anyone share their experience/thoughts on this? Thanks.

Hi, I just thought I would sign up for Xomba for my back links as Redgage is a complete waste of time as I can never get a link to work! So I joined blogger and I don't like that! So tonight I thought I would have a go at Xomba, is there anybody that thinks it's worth it? thanks

I discovered RedGage a few days ago. You can post photos, documents, videos and links on the site, and get paid for doing so. Only cents, but to get paid to post links to hubs or sites is novel. So I now have several PR3 links back to my hubs, and 5 cents(!) in my account. Will it disappear under a...
