Would you get business cards to promote your work on HubPages?
Would it be a good idea to make your own business cards promoting your subdomain url or is it best to focus on getting organic traffic?
I don't think it would hurt, You can purchase business cards by the bundle, if you come in contact/interact with a lot of people on a daily bases, it may be beneficial. Only one way to find out.
I think the return on investment for doing this would be minimal and therefore not worth the effort. I'd continue concentrating on creating great content for your sites and to distribute.
I agree with businesstrader. Focus your energy on promoting your own sites and making the best user experience possible.
I was thinking about doing this. Not JUST for HubPages, but all of my social media sites that showcase my writing. It can't hurt and it would make it easier when talking to people about it. It's great exposure!

When I joined here a couple weeks ago I thought I could write hubs that others may benefit from and I in turn could read others interesting hubs. I guess I was naive as it seems no one will read my hubs unless I spend a lot of time promoting them, which requires first learning how to...
