How to help a new writer.
A new writer has some huge mistakes (not just a few typos). I would like to suggest some corrections that would save them some embarassment. Is there a way to contact a writer personally and not point out these egregious mistakes publically?
Yes, you can email that person.. Go under his or her profile page under fan mail and you will see contact this hubber by email. I always think it is best and not do so in a comment, as you stated, to spare the person some embarrassment. You are kind to help! Blessings
Thank you, Faith. I always want to encourage gardeners and writers.
Constructive criticism has always seemed to be the best method for helping out new writers.

We have our Hub score, we have our comment score, we have our accolades but no where is there a score detailing precisely how can we do better. Yes, we have the forums for help but for us struggling to make our hubs better what if there were an option given by the author to "grade" the...

I write for another website and have only been doing it for a week. Yesterday I get this email from one of their other writers wanting my home phone number and criticizing my (total of 2) articles posted to the site. I don't give out my home number and explained I write all day so I need to not be...
