Anyone & i mean anyone that bullies another person has obviously got some problems of their own, so they take their problems out on other people..Then the person their bullying will take it personally, & they will probably also take it out on someone else or get withdrawn..So the chain gets longer because both the bully, & the person being bullied don't know how to handle their situations..So think about it would a normal happy person ever feel the need to bully another person?, no of course they wouldn't it wouldn't even enter their mind, not unless the bully has big personal problems of their own..So the bully will have personal problems in their home life or relationship problems, maybe their being bullied themselves, or they just have a low self worth etc..The person being bullied wouldn't know what the bullies problem is, but they should know logically the bully "has" to have problems in order to bully..This isn't just the case sometimes, this is the case every time..I know a few mean nasty people as i work as a contractor on oil refineries, & they will pick on the new guys as that's how they get through a shift..Anyone who stands up to these guys no longer gets bullied, but the one's who don't stand up for themselves get constantly bullied..A couple of points i would like to make quickly is that nothing any one says to us or about us, should be able to rattle us at all..Now obviously it does hurt when people say mean things to us etc, but that's only because we let it hurt us as we're not in control of our feelings & emotions..So see a bully as a person with little or no self worth, OR as someone who is unhappy with their own life..Never pick on anyone yourself as it lowers your own self worth, but always stand up for yourself..It's the hardest thing in the world to stand up to someone who might be bullying us, but at the end of the day..Someone somewhere will want to bully you sooner or later in life, so the sooner a person takes the leap of faith & stands up to the bully (if they have to defend themselves physically) the better, because once we do it once it's easier to do it the next time..So basically a bully is a massive ego to a certain extent, & they won't risk losing their ego against someone who won't take their shit, they usually go for the weaker person who does/will take it.

What I don't understand is all the big hype about it today. Bullying has been going on since cavemen. It will always exist. The clever get through it and move on. Some people report it. Some fight back or even eliminate the bully. Some commit suicide. Some get protection from gangs or the law. As long as there are strong and weak people, there will be bullying.
