How Much Money is Enough Money?
Billionaires like Donald Sterling have enough money to support endless generations, so why do they need more? Do you think there should be a limit to how much money you have? Should Billionaires be taxed more? Is there any amount that would be enough?
For me, I can live with enough money to pay the bills, some money for food and just have some spare money for holidays or for future use. Some people obviously want more money than they can use but that is their choice. It is up to individuals how much money they want to have as long as they obtain it through legal means that is fine by me.
No limit should ever be placed on what someone can earn.....EVER!!! They already pay more taxes than the average guy even if they pay a lower percent. I think they should donate portions of their income to help society as a whole, but if they don't then it just shows lacking in their morals. No limit should be put into place.
Why should there be a limit? If you are able to sell some service or product that the public or a business is willing to pay for then you should be able to make as much money as the market and your talent to provide it can bear.
I don't think anyone should be over taxed, not even billionaires. I think they should be encouraged to invest in and expand their businesses and create more businesses as well. There is nothing wrong with profit. Why else do you work or start a business?
If someone making 50K/yr is taxed at 10% he pays $5,000 and if someone who makes 1 billion a year pays the same they pay 100 million. No matter what, that's one hell of a lot of money the government gets, why should he be punished for having success?
Bottom line is, I never got a job from a poor man or a poor business.
In America you should be able to rise as high and as far as your talent and ambition will take you.
In order to become a multi-millionaire or billionaire one's mindset has to be about striving to do better than they did the previous year.
After awhile (money) just becomes a way of measurement or keeping score. No company or any individual wants to regress. There should never be laws to encourage people to do less than their best in any endeavor. Life is not about doing "enough". It's about doing the best you can.
The "American Dream" is all about having large goals, working hard, and benefiting from the fruits of your labor whether it be physical, mental, or investing.
I don't think there should be a limit on how much money people have. That would be like closing places like McDonald's, search engines like Google and websites like YouTube because they are too successful. If a person finds a good way to make money they probably like doing what they are doing.
Being successful and productive makes people happy. Just being rich is not enough for some people. They want to accomplish things. I don't think people should be punished for being really successful. They are already paying a lot of tax.
If I somehow find myself making a lot of money online and make more than I need it would mean people like what I am doing. I would be filling a demand. I would not stop what I was doing because I had enough money and I would not delete the content I posted online.
No amount is enough if you like being successful and you like the work you are doing. I would not see success as a reason to stop.

How much money is enough to make you happy?A recent poll on Oprah said $75,000 is all you need to be happy. Anything more than that is too much. Most disagreed. Oprah said $100,000 is a better number. What do you think?

How much money is enough?Assuming basic needs are taken care of, and you own your own home, what would be your measure of "enough money" to not have to work any more?

My question to you is, how much money is enough? How much would you have to make a year or have in your bank account to be at peace financially? OR... do you think you'll always want more, no matter what goal you reach?
