Is there a liberal bias that fuels the elite media? The new documentary weridetodc.com demonstrates

that there is. Have you watched it? I suggest you do before answering this question, unless of course you don't want to hear the truth.

Nice video.  A large part of the problem is the total apathy of many of our citizens.  Much of the Media is still in love with Obama, or have received a warning from those who control the Networks on what should be reported and what should be kept quiet.  When they are forced to report on some controversial issue they often "distort" or "slant" the facts somewhat to better reflect their own political philosophies.

I occasionaly watch a little of the news on BBC and even on Al Gazeera.  It is interesting to see the news without any political opinions, just the news about what happened.

Our own Media feels it necessary to interpret for us everything that was just said in a speech we just watched.  Like we are not smart enough to understand what was said without their help.

It will continue to get worse before citizens get riled up enough to see what is really happening in this country.  We can't rely on the Media to keep us informed so it is up to us to use as many information sources as possible to sort out the truth.

So in answer to your question, Yes there is a liberal bias that fuels the elite media.  Perhaps it is done by direct threat or other means.  I can't believe the talking heads get to pick and choose exactly what they want to cover on the news.

DML is a pure conservative propagandist. The only media bias being presented is from himself. If you can't recognize the heavy bias from his film than you are blind and/or dumb. Stop watching garbage and go learn something about the actual world.

Typical liberal - instead of admitting the facts (even journalists admit it http://www.mrc.org/media-bias-101/journ … s-part-one JS can do no better than to name call anyone who disagrees with him - no surprise here!.

I think you are confused, as usual. I didn't say there wasn't media bias, but DML is as biased as they get (as is MRC by the way). You can't really talk about bias if you can't objectively see it. Stop watching/reading garbage.

So what was the question? - was it "Is there a liberal bias that fuels the elite media?" or was it "Is DML or MRC biased?" You are so lame. Now you are agreeing there is liberal bias in the elite media?

I didn't say one way or the other, just that DML and MRC are heavily biased so not valid sources for claims of bias. And it doesn't take an investigation, it takes about three seconds. Provide a credible source and I'll consider it.

Nice, besides name calling you can't even answer the question you are supposed to be answering - like you are incapable of looking at the facts yourself, you have to be shown? You just don't want to admit the truth. A lame attempt at diversion.

I didn't view the video, but I do not that some liberal professors specifically conducted an extensive study on whether the media is actually biased. They expected that it would be balanced, but Lo and Behold, they were shocked to discover that the media is biased significantly to the left--something like 90%, as I recall.
Personally, I tune in to PBS channels, who at least attempt to give a balanced account of the news. But even with them, I've noticed some cramped starting points...

So right Savvydating, it is no secret and people like DML and MRC are not biased but report the truth and back it up with facts, something liberals hate so much their first reaction without even investigating the facts is name calling.

PBS is the only American channel worth spending any time with in my opinion.

I guess I'll say this in the vernacular junksmeller and his liberal friends are so adept at using (so even they will get it), name calling that is. It appears that junksmeller's tactics are so appealing that, although he couldn't muster enough grey matter to answer the question, Robert the Screw Loose? (not sure if that was his name but the shoe fits) had a few choice names he wished to share with us all. Needless to say, since he didn't even try to answer the question I deleted him and so as to not suffer anyone their troglidite behavior I have closed the question to answers.
