Have Americans become a nation of whiners, complainers, excuse makers, and crybabies?

Are you talking about all of those people whining about the tiny influx of immigrants and how their taxes are going to go up by a penny. If so, you are so right. I mean, it isn't like they control the law-making body of this country and can actually do anything about it. Oh, no wait, they do.

Boo-hoo someone might take my job. Boo-hoo my taxes went up a penny. Boo-hoo Obama trying to do something makes us look bad. Boo-hoo, I want a handout too. Boo-hoo some of them have the sniffles. Boo-hoo some of them scare me and make me poo myself a little bit...

You mean like calling Americans "whiners, complainers, excuse makers, and crybabies"? I was merely trying to clarify your own accusation.

If you are going to join just to insult people, you really ought to come up with something better than that. Bed wetter is straight out of peewee league.

I don't think most of the nation is full of whiners, complainers, excuse makers, and cry babies.  The reason it seems like the country is swarming with people like that is because whiners (and everyone else on that list) tend to be the loudest.  Everyone else is too busy working and living life to get involved in nonsense.

Absolutely!   I was just having this conversation the other day about how people really don't recognize just how much more fortunate they are compared to others.

Somewhat. There are a million youtube videos and seminars telling you to go for it in life and live your passion and purpose. Steve Jobs left behind inspiration words to inspire others and so did Randy Paush.  When you do nothing and refuse to change our mentality or path then (if you are unhappy) you are married to your failures.  Complain and complain while in every area of life you can be inspired by others who have accomplished great things despite the odds and obstacles.  No one can stop you but you. Opportunity does not knock on your door, you have to chase it and eliminate the losers to soar higher.
