Do I have to delete my Nymphomaniac hub review because of adult/Mature content?
I've done a review of the film 'Nymphomaniac', obviously an adult film, with themes and issues of a sexual nature. I was mindful not to be too blatant when writing, but when I got the warning for adult/mature content I wasn't sure what the problem was. I've deleted pictures that could have been considered too mature, and tried to rewrite it so that it was a bit more general but I'm still getting the warning. Will I just have to delete the hub or is there something else I can try?
To stay within the Google guidelines that would be a wise choice. Here is a link that touches on the subject

I had one hub that was flagged at one point (on Sex-ed) and I sent them an email to which they replied and told me it was for a single word. Don't remember the exact word (and couldn't repeat it anyway), but I changed the word and was fine for a few months until it was re-flagged.
Google is more picky than Hubpages. You do have the option of turning off ads, which is what I did and it has been published ever since without any issues. I don't know if you have tried that, but that is an option if you aren't terribly concerned about making money.
You could also try sending them an email to see what is the offending word or element. They were pretty responsive when I did that the one time.
I went to look for your hub to see if anything jumped out as being offensive but didn't see it.
So I might just need to reword it, that'd be great if that's all it is. Did you contact them through a forum or email? Yeah the hub was unpublished until I rewrite it, but it feels like I'm being reprimanded for doing nothing but reviewing this film
I think I sent them an email. They have a web form for sending them a message here: http://hubpages.com/email/help/
Certain 'buzz' words flag HubPages' (or Google's) censorship program. I wrote a hub about America's Fear of Sex and Nudity and had the same thing happen. Discussing certain subjects, no matter how much you tiptoe around specific words, will always get that flag. You would be better off just posting the article without ads, rather than trying to get HubPages to overturn the decision.
I have ads disabled on the hub, not that it actually stops ads from popping up in it, Is there another way is disabling them other than the side tab?
That's the only way I know of, but having them disabled should remove any content warning tags on your statistics page.

Should Hubpages have a seperate website for Adult/mature content? Many authors here have written poetry, short stories, or hubs with mature humor that have been flagged and unpublished. I think HP should have another site where we can publish these hubs. Thoughts?

Hello, here's something I've been wondering about for a while.I have a few articles on another site, which has recently announced that it's no longer going to pay international contributors. So I'm thinking it would be a good idea to move a couple of them over to HubPages (where we're...

I have read somewhere here that google search engines take into account the page-views to compute ranking. Is it advisable to delete non-performing Hubs, those with 0 pageviews a day, as a way to increase traffic in an attempt to increase ranking? How do you deal with low-performing hubs?thanks in...

Been quiet as of late going through my hubpages and am yet undecided whether to keep some or delete a load of them or even vastly re-write them and add value instead of just my thoughts which don't count for much.Am updating my hubs to comply with the newer HP policies too and have come up with a...

In my last hub "Syria, the disinformation" illustrated with pictures of dead children that reflect the reality of the presence of mercenaries financed by the Saudis, the US..., hubpages characterized it as "mature content" and, as a consequence, was not published. My question is...

For example, would medieval artwork of scantily clad women, or professionally artistic nudes be classified as mature content, unable to be showcased on Hubpages?
