Do the scores on your hub increase over time or do they stay the same?
I am wondering because my first published hub has a much higher score than my other two, but I am wondering if thats a sign of age/comments etc.
It is possible for a hub's score to go up over time. But that depends on its longevity and traffic. A hub that doesn't 'go out of date' will likely increase in score over time. But if the subject matter gets old (like talking about one particular season of a show) it will likely fall in both score and traffic.
Thanks, I get what you are saying about my content being timely and not evergreen. I have been thinking about what kind of content I might want to create outside of episode recaps.
If you are doing recaps and reviews of TV shows, traffic will definitely fall off. I do that for my blog, premiumcablereviews, and I get hits on the review the first couple of weeks and then almost nothing.
Another point about reviews, you have to compete against some heavy hitters. Huff Post does reviews and all the newspapers and entertainment websites. You are in a tough category with reviews. I write mine just because I enjoy doing them. I don't put them on HubPages because HP wants "evergreen" topics.
Maybe thats why the entertainment category seems so empty! So now, I have a few ideas on evergreen content that I can do... still gonna do episode reviews.. I like them too
My scores have jumped and lowered and been around the globe in the past year. Keep in mind that even when making an improvement to your page your score may lower (or raise) because it is subjective and and not definitive.

Well, yall don't hear from me much anymore, as I'm one of the oldsters here. But some of you know I used to have hubber scores of 95-100. When the big boom happened, it dropped to the early 80s. In addition, my individual hub scores dropped, but not earnings. What is really weird...

I have noticed it is hovering just below 85 recently. I have a few Hubs with a score of around 71, could this be the reason?

I have noticed a sudden increase in the hub scores of a number of my highest rated articles. I had one reach a score of 100 a few days ago and it is still at 98, and a number on 95. Some of these have risen by up to ten points almost overnight. I also have an increase in red up arrows. Though my...

Hi everybody! I'm new to HubPages, and I just published my first hub, a free verse poem. I got a HubScore of 54 on it, so I'm worried that it isn't good enough and needs to be improved somehow. Is my writing quality not good enough? Should there be more capsules on the page, or should I put in an...
