    USA, CIA, Torture: Should There Be Arrests?

    The head of the CIA, John Brennan, admitted there was people being tortured after  "9/11". Should someone investigate, and arrest people involved?

    Yes, but we don't need an investigation. We know who is responsible. It is the American people who continually elect terrible people to represent them. They should arrest themselves.

    What was it for the last election. 11% approval rating for Congress, yet 95% of incumbents re-elected? The level of stupidity necessary for such an outcome is astounding.

    What for? So the perps can be let go after serving a month in prison (maybe) and then receive their overly generous retirement package?

    It's a delusion. Those who rule this country know how to game the system. They know how to cover their tracks and manipulate the circumstances. No national "leaders" will ever come to justice unless it's a grassroots effort from the people themselves. But then again, the American people don't seem too concerned over the crimes of the higher-ups.

    Hell yes! If America is as great a country as we want to believe it is, then we absolutely MUST investigate the crimes committed in our name. What makes us a great country is that nobody is above the law, not even the president. There should be prosecution of anyone who authorized this criminal behavior.

      Jeff, your idealism is inspiring, but lacking in reality I'm afraid. Who exactly would be "investigating" these crimes? Bought and paid-for committees? And sadly, yes...in practice the President IS above the law, as we have seen on many occasions.
