No religion promote terrorism. Yet why some religious terrorists kill people so mercilessly?

Why innocent people daily targeted and killed brutally by Islamic terrorists every day around the world?

    "No religion promotes terrorism?"

You're mistaken on that. Though maybe the word "terrorism" is not used in the Qu'ran, it's there. When Allah gives his followers permission (and even commandment) to kill unbelievers, I think that constitutes terrorism. And don't start telling me that I'm taking all those verses out of context. Hundreds of verses in your book promote violence.

Also, the billions of Muslims who do not actively participate in terrorism are still helping to promote it---by giving their time, money, and manpower to organizations that carry out terrorism. I don't think Islam can hide it's ugly head anymore...we all have eyes, ears, and brains.

In my humble opinion, if a religion advocates or promotes the killing of others then it is not a religion and instead, I would classify it as a cult. Organized religion has always been a sticky wicket because more times than not, the religious teachings are preached by man's interpretation rather than what the intended written words really meant.

Excellent. Ego is the great corrupter and source of evil. Love would never do such things with such self-concern.

Could it be because selfish people in rich countries want to stir up hate and mistrust in order to gain more power? Could ISIS be a CIA black op funded by their sale of drugs to American kids?

The real culprit in all of the evil of the world is ego -- self-concern.

Love would never do such things. Those who are terrorists (including President Obama, Prime Minister Cameron and President Hollande) are following self-concern (ego) instead of Love.

The important reason is that many people get so easily attached to their religious dogmas that they develop intolerance towards other religions. It is so easy to motivate such people to commit violence against a sect in the name of religion. It is too easy to indoctrinate younger people and those, who have suffered at the behest of a particular sect to indulge in violence against the people of that sect. Actually, no religion in the world preaches violence. It is individual consciousness or lack of it, which can prompt one to desist from an act of terrorism or indulge in it.

Islam does not promote terrorism but vested interests motivate gullible  persons to do so in the name of religion because it is a very powerful motivation force.
