If you face God someday, what will be the thing you will be proud to tell him?
Isn't pride one of the 7 deadly sins? I think we should be humble and will be humbled when we face God.
Thank you for allowing me to exist on your planet and please forgive me for the things I have done and failed to do for You.
I will be proud to tell God that I questioned his existence. I would be proud to face God with his knowing that I recognized my limited capabilities of understanding and that I felt I would have displayed the UTMOST in arrogance to have presumed during my lifetime I could understand who or what God is.
And God would say, "FINALLY, one of the few billions who GOT it!" He or She or It would say, "I can see you understood what that famous American, Thomas Jefferson said, 'Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blind-folded fear.'"
God would go on and say, "I am pleased that you didn't get caught up in trying to unscramble ancient writings that were translated over and over until they reached all levels of meaningless interpretation. He would add, "I am pleased that instead you looked to hints of existence that I delicately unfolded through the eons of time through science and reason. It was the great puzzle that I gave you, and your questioning led others to question, and it is that questioning that kept pointing to the answers." God would go on, 'Like a parent who puts before his child a great puzzle not concerned that pieces are missing, l knew that puzzle would strengthen your collective mind. I am proud that you and many billions of others could accept ambiguity in your lifetime and not HAVE to know the answer because that, dear human was the test."
I will be proud that I questioned because exploring all possibilites seems to me, the mandate of our intellect.
There would be nothing you could "tell" God that he didn't already know.
I don't think I would be proud in heavon, nothing I did got me there so I have nothing to be proud of. When I am in front of God I will be worshiping that's all
I believed in you as a child, I lost my faith as a man, and the time has come where I am able to finally face you, I say that regardless of believing in you or not, I'm proud to have lived, nothing more.
Proud? Of nothing. Pride is part of ego which separates us from each other and from God.
Ours is not to exercise pride for self's sake, but to love others as if they were ourselves for their sake.

I refuse to prove that I exist, says God, for proof denies faith, and without faith I am nothing. But," says Man, "the Babel fish is a dead giveaway isn't it? It proves you exist, and so therefore, you don't," "Oh dear," says God, "I hadn't thought of that," and...
