   Why do many parents of & many children from large/very large families criticize, even condemn
   
   parents of & children from small families;now if others criticize, even condemn parents of & children from large/very large families, they become indignant, not realizing that what is good for the goose, is good for the gander? There are parents of & children from large/very large families who feel that parents of & children from small families are selfish, indulged, & even brats.  Now when the former parents & children are in turn criticized, they consider it as an affront to them; however, they CAN criticize small families but one SHOULD NEVER criticize their large/very large family.

   We have 8 kiddos between us and they are generally well behaved in public. We have a problem with parent, whether of 1 or 10 kiddos, who don't parent. Children need discipline and structure. They need to understand proper behavior. They need to be loved and guided to become good people and citizens. I don't think this is issue has to do with the quantity of children in the family, but the quality of the parenting.

      The more children in the family, the WORSE quality of parenting.  Parents simply can't give individualized attention to a LARGE number of children. Some will be cast aside, neglected & waylaided while few will be LOVED.

   People who criticize anyone, for any reason, do so out of their need to justify their own lifestyle and their own choices. People in general are self centered and tend to think that the rest of the world revolves around them. And anyone who does not think the same way, act the same way, or believe the same way are fodder for criticism.
   
   It is all in the upbringing and personification of personal self worth that develops from not being able to comprehend that diversity is what life is all about. And that love, understanding, tolerance and acceptance of others for who they are, and not who we wish them to be, supercedes all else.
