How do I create a positive experience while living with my boyfriends parents?

    How do I create a positive experience  while living with my boyfriends  parents? It is so hard.

    I feel like I am invading there space. I feel like being in such a small confined space is causing allot of tension with my boyfriend and I.

    Try to find good qualities in them and overall in that environment and focus on it. Our thoughts are very powerful. If you can't change the situation change your attitude towards it and things will automatically change to better.

    I like what Jan Lova said. There's another item that came to me about your situation. Your identity has to be preserved. The identity of your couple also must survive. (This may sound choppily written....)  While preserving all that identity, kindness must rule. Without knowing your age or financial setting, it's hard to be specific....but to the greatest degree possible, have opportunities for just yourself and just the couple.

    I suppose if you treat them like your own parents, they might treat you like their own daughter. Take this opportunity to get to know your boyfriend's parents. It will get easier as you get to know them and their ways of doing things. Try and offer help to them as if when needed like in the kitchen maybe doing washing up for them. Little things mean a lot so try to be positive and make things happen. Good luck.
