How do you deal with friends who seem to not appreciate you?
Find new friends.
Why hang out with people who don't appreciate your relationship with them?
Good question. Loneliness is not a reason to allow people to exploit or mistreat you. If someone does not appreciate your friendship then display the love and respect you have for yourself by not spending time with them. If they ask what's wrong, approach the situation with honesty from your perspective and let them know you can't tolerate that behavior in your life. Wish them the best and make them a part of your past.
I think you are very right, but sometimes letting go is not that easy.
It has been my experience in life that people who feel negatively about you or use you will cause frustration and drama in your life. Close the door to foolishness, open a door to true friends and quality interaction.
Cut them out of your lives. Nobody deserves to be used or abused.
How do I deal with friends who do not appreciate me? It is easy for me to do, I will unfriend them and find new friends who are worthy of my friendship. I know that it is hard to let go at times but you will soon find better friends who will appreciate your friendship. It is no good wasting your time for friends who don't care for you or have no time for you. Just let them go, that's it.
