How to tackle people who continuously taunt or comment us other than ignoring them.
There are people who face this situation at their workplace, home etc. This is now faced even by kids who score better than others. What should be done to get rid of such comments or commentors.
there is a saying return every insult with a compliment -not flattery mind. Don't know how it's possible with these nasties myself. Some just get high on getting away with it, at the end of the day no ones perfect, and sometimes the tormentor is trying to hide their flaws or the pain they feel. Pity, they haven't found more apt. ways to deal with it.
Lead a simple life, then notice the point or suject of their choice to taunt us. If you find that you can correct it then do so. In most situations those people who taunt others have a fiend or group of friends who are their backbone, this people are nothing without the backbone, so learn to tackle the backbone. Proof to the backbone that whatever said by the taunter is pure nonsense. I
Eg if taunter says u are 'z' then act in a way that u are not 'z' in front of his buddy ..
Thanku for giving such a helpful suggestion. This exactly clears my doubt and that was a very good guide for developing one's personality.Hope to learn more from you.Thank you once again.
Hi Soumya, the opponent's behavior is because of two things, one, their own nature, second the atmosphere where they live, and we are a part of that atmosphere which is why we know that opponent. As far their nature, try to correct them, don't maintain a distance, else nobody is going to be there to correct them. As long as you are there such negative traits shouldn't come up, be a charismatic personally to annihilate such evil acts. When it come to the atmosphere just focus on the reasons behind such painful taunting attitude and try to address. I think in any case if we get some negative comments we should see ourselves first if we are correct then definitely things are going to be correct one or the other day. So be positive, stay there, the atmosphere that resembles moral degradation needs people like you.

Do you think it's polite to point out to a fellow hubber that they have misspelled a word or name?

Is there a reason why hubbers do not accept constructive criticism and/or corrections? Am I the only grown-up on this site who takes corrections as a means of making my hubs better and myself informed? I, not wanting to let a hubber I started to follow look like a fool, decided to correct this...

I was quite stunned a week or more ago when someone made a statement on one of my hubs that she had commented twice and I had snubbed her by not replying. Her comment had been particularly flattering, and probably because I've spent a lifetime being flattered by others only to find that they wanted...

If you happen to read a hub that is meant to be educational......but all of the facts in it are wrong, what do you do? Do you tell the person their facts are wrong? Or do you just leave it? It drives me insane to find a hub by someone who has thousands of followers but all of the information in the...

Does the "editbot" only correct one typo per comment?I just noticed where the "editbot" did catch a typo in a comment, but then it overlooked another misspelled word "althought" when it should read "although". So, does anyone know if it can only catch...
