Wow ~ GREAT List Peter ~

I would slightly modify #3 and say Money can Certainly "Enhance" your life in a Positive Way, and there should be an "Equitable Distribution of Assets" for ALL Citizens, but other than that, Once Again, Great LIST ~

You're right Lisa. I only saw the capitals. Reading the small prints it makes the question less interesting to me though.

Having siblings helps children interface well w/other children.  What poppycock.  If such was the case, why is there sibling rivalry? Studies have shown that aggressive, even abusive behavior is routine among siblings.  It is not unusual for siblings to name call, hit,  kick, or even adopt more aggressive behavior w/each other.  Yes, siblings even bully each other.  This explains why children w/siblings are more likely to become bullies. Having siblings is NOT a guarantee that children will learn to interface well w/other children.  This is a MYTH.  One doesn't need siblings to interface well w/other children.  Only children associate w/other children through friendships & other peers through participation in intellectual & cultural activities.

Only children are "missing out" on sooo much by not having siblings.  Only children have friendships & associations.  Only children don't live in a vacuum, they DO associate w/other children. In fact, they have more friends & associations than children w/siblings through their travels, cultural, & intellectual activities which children w/siblings can ill afford because their socioeconomic situation is tighter as monies has to be stretched in their particular families.

Only children are attention seekers while children w/siblings....AREN'T.  Really? I didn't know that Madonna & Jennifer Lopez were only children...NOT!  Only children are most low-keyed people around.  Since they receive individualized love & attention as children, their needs are met.  Those who have siblings, well, that's ANOTHER story.  In multichild families, there is constant vying for parental attention & resources. Well, children do what they MUST do to get that attention for good or ill. Children w/siblings are actually THE MOST attention seeking. If they DON'T receive that attention at home, they seek that attention ELSEWHERE!

Only children have NO SUPPORT system while children w/siblings......DO.  Well, uhhem........Only children have support systems through their parents, other family members, their friends, & spouses, children if they decide to have the latter.  Only children have support systems of their choosing.  Children w/siblings have support systems because they have siblings.  How many siblings grow away, even disassociate or disown each other?  How many siblings use a sibling just for convenience or if they want something?  Family isn't defined by blood but by those who love/stick up, nurture & RESPECT each other!

Actually, Madonna had 4 brothers. One recently wound up as a homeless drug addict.
