The way I find that my faith is strengthened is through the washing of His Word and through prayer. Without these "tools" the Lord has given to me I would be completely helpless against the many problems which naturally arise in this life.

People say 'let go and let God.' I think this means to let Christ and his love into our hearts, and let Him help us live in loving ways, like being patient and kind. We also let Christ and his love help us to do the right things and help us make the right choices as we face our troubles one step at a time. Have a great day.

Take heed to what JESUS said to his disciples and thereafter, they asked HIM to  "Increase ("strengthen") their faith!"

Luke 17:1-5:  "Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!  It would be better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than he should offend one of these little ones" (His children). "Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, "rebuke him," (Tell him or "judge" him with WORD.) "and if he repent, "forgive him.  And if he trespass against thee seven times in  a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; "thou shalt forgive him."  "And the apostles said unto the Lord, "Increase our faith!"

This was a "hard saying" for the apostles as it is for us today!  How many of us find it "very difficult" (in the flesh) to "continuously forgive" one who "continuously trespasses against us?"  However, if we continue to "STAND on HIS WORD," BELIEVING, and having FAITH in what HE has said, "The battle is not ours, but God's" (II Chronicles 20:15)!

Therein lies your answer!  STAND on HIS WORD, BELIEVING and having FAITH in what HE has said!  It is my experience that when troubles arise, it is not for naught!  Remember, "All things work together for the good of them that LOVE the LORD" (Rm 8:28)!  It may seem times are difficult, but GOD is building your character, and if you STAND, BELIEVE, and HAVE FAITH in WORD, HE is getting ready to move you into another dimension; into HIS likeness (II Corinthians 3:18)!

You've heard the saying of the world "No pain, no gain?"  So it is with Christ!  I Peter 3:17 says "For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well-doing, than for evil-doing."

Our "sufferings" are NOTHING in comparison to what Christ suffered!  I Peter 2:20-21 says "For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, THIS IS ACCEPTABLE WITH GOD.  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps."

GOD is "building your character," "preparing you for another dimension," and changing you from "glory to glory," into his likeness (II Corinthians 3:18)!

Thank GOD for "sufferings!"  Your job is to "STAND" on HIS WORD!

    Much Love!
