      But they are. The first stage as soon as the heart stops is Primary Flaccidity: All the muscles in the body commence relaxing. Skin loses its tension. Most of the brain cells (Neurons) die within 20-45 minutes of cardiac arrest.

      ...are you educating me or telling me that someone with all of those confirmed signs of death was resuscitated hours after they (confirmed) died? Your viewpoint isnt really clear with how you asked the question and how you responded to the answers.

   They can't be. The brain has about five minutes to survive without oxygen before the cells begin to die off. That's the length of a time a person has to be resuscitated if they are not breathing and their heart's not beating.

      Absolutely right MO. As the heart stops pallor mortis hits within 5-10 minutes of death. Blood starts to drain from the smaller capillaries of the body with the effect of gravity. Within the first hour more than 50% of Brain's 85 billion neurons die.

   This is so true. I strongly believe that there is life after dead. You would shallow minded if you did not, so many have had uplifting experiences, and if you believe in GOD you have no doubts. There has been endless examples and stories of this, to think that this is all there is, keep an open mind. And believe in your faith and the teachings. Linda

      Very right. There are almost 40000 varifiable recorded cases. In the 2013 case of David Binks, he was dead for 70 minutes before being resuscitated. Doctors were boggled to find zero brain damage after such a long time had passed post cardiac arrest.

   No one as been resuscitated "hours" after death. People have been in a death-like state for hours, without heart beating,or higher brain function, but there is always some primitive, lower brain functioning going on.
