Why are hot girls more desirable if she is a celebrity?

People on TV need to look pleasant on the eye, as a result, although not all celebrities are good looking people, good looking people do take up a higher ratio. However, if you just walk down the street, there are a lot of good looking people everywhere, some girls are way hotter then most you see on television. So, why if a hot girl become a celebrity she becomes more sexually desirable, then other hot girl and the bigger celebrity she become, the more desirable she become and once she became a past tense celebrity, her desirable status have some drop?

Usually girls who become celebrities are naturally beautiful.  Ugly women just don't become famous and get on TV or magazines.  That's just the world we live in.  Also, the celebrities have a ton of make-up done by professionals and their hair done too.  And they are pressured to stay in shape, though most are gifted with good skinny genes.  Yes, people will have their opinions about who is pretty and who is not, but you have to agree that 99% of Hollywood is good looking.  And it doesn't help to be talented as well.  The bigger a celebrity becomes, the more desirable, partly because the public is bombarded with images of them (Kardashians) and also they have lots and lots of money, and a lot of people are gold diggers.  When the money runs out, so do your friends (in Hollywood).

Being a celebrity gives the person some media mileage.  The more we talk about them the more people get interested.  There are many beautiful people who are not celebrities.  We just do not get to see them often or talk about them like what we do with celebrities.

That seem to make sense, a hot celebrity like Emma Watson and Kiera Kinghtly I see them on TV 24/7, other girls u are attracted to, unless ur GF, work mate, friends, neighbour, what is the odd for u to see her for more then once or twice?

Fame and money tends to improve everyone's image in the mind of the public. Deep down we feel if they "got there" they must be "special" in some way even if we personally don't see it (right away).
The more the media fawns over them the more we find ourselves looking for something in them. Fame creates fantasies.
Just about every celebrity who is considered "hot" can relay you stories about what their life was like when they weren't famous.
Back when they were a waitress/waiter, parking cars, delivering pizzas, working temp jobs as office assistants or whatever.
They were not "feeling the love" and experienced rejection and heartache like everyone else. In fact they still do.
Read the "comments section" on any article about a celebrity and you'll discover no one is "universally loved" no matter how hot, rich or famous they are. Image and reality are often two different things.

It makes her into a status symbol to be with / possess.
